The Green Bottle Blue Tarantula originates from the grassland regions of northern Venezuela, but they are the types of spiders that tend to get frightened easily. They are full of energy but can be trained and controlled to a point where you can safely handle them. 

However, if by any means they feel threatened, they will bite to protect themselves. They are also venomous to humans and come with a sting that feels similar to that of a bee. 

This tarantula is relatively active, and its unique colorful body makes it a great pet for beginners. They create a lot of webbing as they prefer to be off the ground, and furthermore, they use their webbing to capture their prey. In the wild, Green Bottle Blue tarantulas form their webs thick enough to capture birds.
