Guinea pigs make great pets and are known to be the kind to keep you on your feet whenever they are out of their cages. So, after going through the day…how do guinea pigs operate at night? Do they usually need a light to get around, or can they function as effectively as they do during the day? 

Well, guinea pigs don’t really have good night vision, but they can still get around in the dark quite well. How is this possible? These animals have a sharp memory and can memorize where practically everything is around the cage. They also have a good sense of smell and hearing skills, so these help them out as well.
