Rabbits are amazing creatures and do make a great addition to the family unit. They have always been a desired pet for many families, but one central question is always asked…are rabbits an excellent choice for children? 

Many rabbit organizations have argued that rabbits may not be ideal for children…especially younger children. While making good family pets, they also require adult attention for their best well-being. They are super intelligent animals with high sensitivity that need an adult touch, even with kids.
