All About Dachshund Dogs PLR

Dachshunds are unique dogs as their physical look is quite stunning.  They feature short legs, long bodies, and are hound-type dogs. They may come as long-haired, wire-haired, or smooth-haired. Originally, the regular-sized Dachshunds were developed to chase, scent, and keep badgers and burrow-dwelling animals away while the miniature version was developed to hunt smaller animals like rabbits. 

In 2018, the American Kennel Club ranked Dachshunds at 12th most popular. Interestingly, Dachshunds are a work of art from German breeders and are a mix of French, German, and English hounds and terriers.  This breed is famous with royalty as they were owned by Queen Victoria who was enthused by this breed.
